Rolling Hills Estates has fabulous Italian dining at Mama Terano and Giorgio’s. At Mama Terano you will find scallops with parmesan risotto and duck breast with a blood orange sauce on the menu. Giorgio’s is known for the homemade pasta, and you can taste the freshness in every bite of their crab ravioli. Creme de la Crepe is a sweet French bistro serving all three meals, wine, and cocktails. An early morning coffee fix is found at Reverent Coffee Bar. It is a local favorite for its Revery cappuccino with orange blossom and cinnamon flavors and its Lilikoi Tonic, which is two shots of espresso atop Hawaiian Passion Fruit juice.
The Regal Promenade is the best movie theater in the city, showing a mix of blockbusters and independent films. The Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion is part of the Palos Verdes Performing Arts and the best venue for a live show. The Pavilion is a favorite for weddings and other large celebrations where receptions are held in the spacious cherry-wood ballroom.
A staple of shopping in Rolling Hills Estates is the Promenade on the Peninsula, an open-air mall on Deep Valley Drive. The Promenade features three levels with restaurants, a movie theater, and many different services from dance studios to medical facilities. On Peninsula Center is the Peninsula Shopping Center, another one-stop shop for Rolling Hills Estates residents. At the Peninsula Shopping Center, you will find retail favorites as well as unique establishments like the Yellow Vase, a bakery, cafe, and floral shop.

Residents who love the outdoors frequent the Linden H. Chandler Preserve’s 28-acres of grasslands and trails. You can schedule an afternoon of horseback riding or hike along the one-mile Loop Trail.
